They That Trust In Their Wealth Instead Of God = Psalm 49;1-4
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Psalm 49;1-4
Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: Both low and high, rich and poor, together. My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

Psalm 49;5-11
Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about? They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever; That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption. For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.

Psalm 49;12-15
Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish. This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah. Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for He shall receive me. Selah.

Psalm 49;16-20
Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself. He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light. Man that is in honour and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.

AMEN

For what shall a man give in exchange for his soul .
Worry not over these things for the gentiles of the world seek such things .
RATHER SEEK YE THE KINGDOM OF GOD . Worry not over the morrow
STORE NOT UP on earth riches but STORE THEM UP IN HEAVEN .
Lord tell my brother so that he divides the inheritance with me ,
WHO made me a judge or a divider over you
BEWARE OF COVETOUSNESS for a mans life constists NOT , NOT in the abundance of what he posses .
EVER GET THE FEELING that the prosperity gospel is FALSE
For they teach and take the ABUNDANT LIFE out of text and act as though JESUS is a means TO BE RICH on this earth .
YET JESUS had a word to say about ABUNDANCE AND LIFE .
AND it wasnt about the love of money , but rather about JUST KNOWING HIM . HE IS OUR TREASURE and HE ALONE OUR RICHES .
His every word is finer than millions of gold and silvers . THE WISDOM OF GOD is TREASURE
and JESUS is our riches .

@amigo de christo We need the wisdom of Proverbs 8, indeed...and that of Colossians 2.3: in the Lord Jesus are hid 'all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge'....

They That Trust In Their Wealth Instead Of God
The Bible is full of admonitions and warnings about the danger of making riches one's god. Psalm 49 gives a true picture of how many (if not most) wealthy people regard their wealth.

But Job was a wealthy man who used his wealth as a steward should. Therefore God blessed him with even more wealth. Christians who are wealthy should be investing in the Gospel and in the Kingdom of God (which includes the offering of assistance to the neediest and poorest in the world).

13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 14And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just... 21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. (Luke 14:13,14,21)

And WHEN JOB lost all , HE simply said the GOOD LORD GIVES and the GOOD LORD taketh away
BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE GLORIOUS LORD . Yet when kenneth copeland stands , his heart is all on his money .
And if one threat of it is made the man turns into a pit bull with rage . The prosperity gospel preaches ARE FALSE
THEY LOVE IS MONEY , they ROB the churches to build their own empires
their hearts are not on nor for the children , ONLY on they money so they can get richer and richer .
YET the parents ought to lay up for the children . THEMS FALSE men and women of belial peroid .
I say we follow the example JESUS taught . DID JESUS have better clothes than his own desciples .
DID JESUS have them walk in front of a solid gold chariot , DID JESUS heap and store up , OR DID HE TEACH NOT TO DO SUCH a thing .
exactly . THEMS men and women of belial . THEY TOO BUSY buying golden crowns and have long forgotten
that the TRUE KING wore a crown of THORNS .
