Those Out of Lockdown...What is Happening?

If any of you are in nations who are no longer locked down but still recording thousands of cases every day....what are you observing?

Can life return to normal, especially when there is a 99% recovery rate anyway?

What is happening where you live?

Australia has tentatively opened up for the vaxed, but not the unvaxed. Vaccine passports are needed to enter any store, except food shops and supermarkets.

People are going nuts! Hairdressers have been run off their feet! How long will it be before the C19 takes off again and we are in lockdown again?

We have been out of lockdown since may , the cases here average at 35,000 per day, but the deaths have fluctuated , but much lower. Everything is open, events , sports are back to normal. Life at work hasn’t changed though, still have to test each week, still wearing masks all day, still not completely open as we was prior to covid ( work in a care home ). There are places that have restrictions , or conditions of entry.
So it’s not ‘ normal ‘ on one level…..
In Germany everything is open, but there are conditions on entry to some things. Their cases are much lower, about 1,000 a day. They kept there restrictions longer than us in the U.K. , we just kind of went from no mixing to everyone getting together when the European football started, it kind of snowballed from then.
We have had the marathons running locally again, fun fairs, concerts ect ……….some things haven’t , Lewes bonfire ( a big event on nov 5th was cancelled ) ……
