Grace is hard on kingdom living and preaching because we already have everything they say we can have IF we get it right. Now I have been involved in the the kingdom message for awhile..should say was, and know exactly what they expect IT is you are to know and believe. I preached it loud and long. I'm still not forsure what IT is (the kingdom message). What IT is you are to believe about the message. One thing I do know is; it leaves the believer lacking..wanting..hanging in the balances! as scripture says another gospel WILL do.
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. - Galatians 1:6-8.
Why do I bring up the kingdom message; because it is the most prevalent message preached in Christianity!
It absulutely is another gospel that was given to another people and absulutely does not belong to the church. So trying to live by another message that belongs to another people causes life to be an endless life and effort of religious works. No life at all! So what is the difference; the difference is your father takes care of his children regardless of what they do and what they believe. The born again child of God is taken care of by their father and no other. He will not turn you over to a babysitter..he does not give you to Satan to straighten you out..he is perfectly able to take care of you one way or another for whatever you need. Even in correction; it will be your father you will have to deal with..you will only wish it was the devil correcting you. When your father is growing you up the pains of that can be as severe as any you can think of..relax and know the end is peaceable fruit according to scripture!
So get off the angry Old Testament God mentality of law keeping; because the earth opening up and swallowing you would be a relief in view of your father molding and the making of a son. The world is a schoolhouse! Relax and allow your father to work in and through you for his plan and purpose..for it is written, it is his will to conform you into the image of his only begotten son. Paul said 'the suffering of this present time is not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in you.' You will know the plan and purpose of all things before it is over..if you are willing.
What is the third life to be lived in this earth. Son-life; Christ-life; the only life there is to be lived in this age of time. Call it what you will..dispensation of grace..this age in time..age of grace..after the cross..unmerited favor..whatever label you can come up with. We are in that time and in that time is the element of time whereby your father is working in you the only life to be lived in this time. Another time will come according to scripture; but the time is at hand to live by Christ who is the life; and the only life of every born again believer! Hear those words if you hear none other! Only Life.
