Revelation teaches us that the Gentiles shall occupy Jerusalem for 42 months at the time of the end. Daniel teaches us that the armed for es of the north will accomplish two things. To abolish the daily sacrifice and to place the abomination of desolation.

According to Daniel the abomination that causes desolation would be placed in Jerusalem 1290 days after the daily sacrifice is abolished.
That means about at the beginning of the occupation the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation would be placed in Jerusalem at the end of the occupation.
That would mean the abomination would be placed at the time of the end when the beast attacks Jerusalem killing its defenders. This coresponds to the king of the south attacking the king of the north who military is stationed in Jerusalem.

Now compare these verses. The first is the king of the north responding to the king of the souths attack.
Daniel 11:40 At the time of the end, the king of the South will engage him in battle, but the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots, horsemen, and many ships, invading many countries and sweeping through them like a flood.
Daniel 11:41 He will also invade the Beautiful Land, and many countries will fall. But these will be delivered from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the leaders of the Ammonites.
Daniel 11:42 He will extend his power over many countries, and not even the land of Egypt will escape.
Daniel 11:43 He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and over all the riches of Egypt, and the Libyans and Cushites will also submit to him.
Daniel 11:44 But news from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will go out with great fury to destroy many and devote them to destruction.
Daniel 11:45 He will pitch his royal tents between the sea and the beautiful holy mountain, but he will meet his end with no one to help him.
Daniel 12:1 "At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress, the likes of which will not have occurred from the beginning of nations until that time. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered.

Now remember that last verse well because you will hear Jesus say the same thing again in the Bible when speaking of the abomination of desolation.

Matthew 24:15 NIV: "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel--let the reader understand--
Matthew 24:16 NIV: then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
Matthew 24:17 NIV: Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house.
Matthew 24:18 NIV: Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak.
Matthew 24:19 NIV: How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
Matthew 24:20 NIV: Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.
Matthew 24:21 NIV: For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again.

See that? Now we must conclude the abomination of desolation is placed in Jerusalem by the armed forces of the north AFTER the king of the south(the beast) attacks and kills the norths armed forces in Jerusalem.

According to Daniel 12 :1,it is at that time that Danie'sl people would be raised from the dead. This timing corresponds to the two witnesses coming back to life in Revelation. The next thing to happen is a cloud rises from Jerusalem.

I find it very interesting a cloud rises from Jerusalem the same time a divice (used to cause desolation) is placed in Jerusalem by the armed forces.

Does anyone know of a device used to cause desolation that causes a cloud to rise into the heavens?

Just look at that big body of fire. How would you like to be cast alive into that thing?
PS and don't forget that earthquake at the end there. It's mentioned in several verses in the Bible.

The only problem here is that Daniel Chapter 11 is a prophecy of the Grecian wars after Alexander died that happened. Teh four rulers (Lysimachus, Antigonus, Ptolemy, and Cassander. The abominable one in Daniel 11 is Antiochus Epiphanes IV, who is a prototype of the Antichrist to come.

And when Jesus warned in Matt. 24 that is future. And it is not a device but a person. Paul also describes it in Thess. Teh man of sin who enters teh temple and declares himself god.

No, a man is not the AoD. Our armed forces use weapons to cause desolation. See Hiroshima

Daniel 11:31 NIV: "His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

See that? Now we must conclude the abomination of desolation is placed in Jerusalem by the armed forces of the north AFTER the king of the south(the beast) attacks and kills the norths armed forces in Jerusalem.

Before I get to the King of the South (KOTS) and King of the North (KOTN) lets ask a question of SHOCK VALUE to us all.

Is God dumb? Of course not is the obvious answer.

So, why do we think God would allow the Anti-Christ to conquer Israel/Jerusalem, and only at that time give them the SIGN to flee Judea via the AoD? Remember, God also gives the Beast total control over the Saints (Jews in this reference) for 42 months, so why would he allow them to escape to the Petra/Bozrah area? The answer is he wouldn't. The AoD happens 30 days before the Anti-Christ conquers Jerusalem/Israel at the 1260 middle of the week, because it happens at the 1290 not the 1260.

Now, lets look at who the Anti-Christ is in the verses you cited, he's not the KOTS he is the KOTN, even Dan. 8:9 tells us this via the direction he conquers TOWARDS.

Dan. 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

So, he conquers TOWARDS Israel meaning TOWARDS is conquering, thus he can not be the KPTS, he Conquers towards the South and Towards the East, meaning he can only come from the Northwest corridor if a simple four wat directional box God has given us.

TOWARDS the South & East means he has to come from Cassander, or Greece. No King from Egypt can conquer towards the South, no King from Turkey can conquer towards the east, thus is simply a battle between the four kingdoms in EVER VERSE after Alexander the Great dies. It is not Turkey conquering Iraq to the east, or Egypt conquering to its south.

4255519d2eb62bf34b46cb6844e7e63b (1).gif

Here is the real battle.

Dan. 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him(Coalition in Africa): and the king of the north shall come against him(Anti-Christ) like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.{{He has to go through Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan etc. to get at this coalition, AND he conquers Israel at the same time SEE BELOW.}}

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land(Israel), AND MANY COUNTRIES shall be overthrown:(The MANY on Dan. 8:25 and 9:27 refers to MANY NATIONS, or the whole Mediterranean Sea Region) but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.(All of these are in the Mountains of Central and Southern Jordan, where the Petra and Bozrah are at, where God protects the Jews for 1260 days.)

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.{He conquers TOWARDS the South}

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

Turkey is not really mentioned unless its a part of the KOTS coalition, there army does get wiped out during the Gog & Magog war. But he PASSES through to get at Israel, Egypt, North Africa and thus the Beast picks up right where it left off. NOTICE Old Rome, the Fourth Beast and the Anti-Christs continuation f the Fourth Beast as the 7th Head.

Roman_Empire_Trajan_117AD (7).png

Then, in these end times the Anti-Christ head of the E.U. will conquer these very nations above, nations he CURRENTLY has 7 Year Agreements with now, we an see it here in Wikipedia European Neighbourhood Policy - Wikipedia

These nations include, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia. The E.U. and these nations all have AGREEMENTS together as we speak.

Want to see the Seven Year Agreements?

Giving incentives and rewarding best performers, as well as offering funds in a faster and more flexible manner, are the two main principles underlying the European Neighborhood Instrument (ENI) that came into force in 2014.[5] It has a budget of €15.4 billion and provides the bulk of funding through a number of programs. The ENI, effective from 2014 to 2020, replaces the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). This cooperation instrument continues to be managed by Directorate-General for Development and Cooperation and EuropeAid, which turns decisions taken on a political level into actions on the ground. The ENPI funding approved for the 2007–2013 period was €11.2 billion.

Why did the change the name? Like crooks who change the name of a fraud company over and over, to tr and cover its tracks. Satan doesn't want us to see his grand plans, but I am like a Bloodhound, with the help of the Holy Spirit I sniff it out. So, after he conquers all of these nations which are clearly seen in Daniel11:40-43 EXCEPT for the Petra and Bozrah areas, here is what the Anti-Christs new Kingdom will look like on a map.

download (6).jpg

The Anti-Christ doesn't have an Agreement with Turkey, see the non colored portion? But as Daniel 8:9 says he conquers TOWARDS the East so he will conquer Turkey anyway, so add that part in because they do have a mindset towards making an arrangement with Turkey, but not a full agreement, at the moment Turkey is only a candidate state. The light blue tells us that.

enp_final-01_cd_final_map_gw1.png

Look at the Roman Empire circa 117 AD and then look at the E.U. when it conquers all of these nations it has agreements with, as Dan. 11:40-43 shows us, and you have the exact same Landmass, the Fourth Beast suffered a Mortal Wound and is thus REVIVED !!

The AoD is not the Anti-Christ, but his Jewish High Priest partner. IMHO, by this time Israel as a part of the European Union.

The abomination of desolation has to occur at the beginning of each woe in Revelation: just before the 1st Trumpet, at the 6th Trumpet, and at the 7th Trumpet. The wrath is the punishment for the abomination.

The Assyrian is invading Ephraim/ Samaria/ literal northern Israel at the beginning of Trumpets (the 'boiling pot' / 'flood of forces' of Jeremiah 1:13 hits 'Ephraim' (who is apostate before faithful Judah/ Jerusalem). 5 months later, the 'flood' of Assyria reaches Jerusalem.

The 1290 days breaks down into 147 days + 1143 days + 7 days to cleanse the temple= '5 months' + 1150 days/ 2300 'evenings & mornings'.

I agree. but it surely isn't a nuke.
Paul plainly says it will be a man; Satan in human form, who enthrones himself in God's Temple and claims to be God. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
These verses are the proof texts of a new Temple in Jerusalem: dedicated to God and of a man who will have Satans power, who will rise to control the world for the final 42 months before Jesus Returns.

God will not allow a nuke to pollute the holy Land. All the weapons of modern warfare will be destroyed on the forthcoming Lord's terrible Day of fiery wrath; the Sixth Seal worldwide devastation. Hosea 2:18, Amos 5:9, +

Antioch Epiphanies played no part in fulfilling scripture whatsoever

The AOD is a future event, and doesn't have a dual fulfillment as many claim

The Judean Christians recognized that Jesus' warnings were applicable to them.

The Judean Christians heeded Jesus' warning, and fled, and survived.

Should they have ignored Jesus' warning and been slaughtered instead?

Jesus tells his disciples preach the gospel in every city in Israel. He teaches them they will be hated and even thier own family members will betray them to death. No, Jesus's disciples are not supposed to run away. When they see the sword is about to destroy Israel, they are supposed to warn the people. Not run away.Warn the people to repent and believe the gospel.
Matthew 10:23 When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next. Truly I tell you, you will not reach all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

The Judean Christians understood that it would be a distant generation, that would be eyewitnesses of the second coming and resurrection, a future event unfulfilled

Matthew 24:29-31KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Daniel 11:41 NIV: He will also invade the Beautiful Land. Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand.

Why would Assyria need a great fleet of ships to attack the Middle East and what kind of navy do you think Assyria has?

Matthew 24:15 So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination of desolation,' described by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand),

We are talking about the prophecy of Daniel. Not the prophecy of Paul.Daniel says the armed forces shall place the abomination of desolation,Not a man. Our military has enough fire power to kill everything in the middle east. It can cause total desolation and make the land uninhabited.
A man claiming to be God anywhere on earth will either be ignored, laughed at, or in some cases placed in a rubber room so they can't hurt himself.
A man claiming to be God does not cause anything to be desolate.

Daniel 11:31 NIV: "His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

The Judean Christians unquestionably understood the signs of their times.

Their actions confirmed their understanding.

Had they disregarded Jesus' warnings, they would have perished.

Thankfully, none of them was a dispensational futurist.

There is Second Coming scripture farther down in the chapter.

But not in Matthew 24:15-16.

We Disagree

The entire chapter of Matthew 24 and the Olivet discourse is dedicated to the second coming and resurrection, a future event unfulfilled

As shown, immediately after the tribulation "They Shall See The Son Of Man" a future generation unfulfilled

You need to explain the Judean Christians' actions.

Fulfilling Scripture in their generation long ago.
