Men seek to be heard when they are desperate, and don’t listen when they have. But it’s a privilege to not only be heard by the Almighty but to hear Him and listen. Which is to be a continuous relationship forever.
Jesus said (in so many words) that if you know His Father you know Him, if you love His Father then you love Him. If you love to hear what God says then surly you love them both the Father and the Son. And that relationship is Father and Son between God and His Word because God loves the fulfillment of His Word just as a good father is pleased to see the fulfillment of his will in and for his son.
