Life is in the blood., and Eternal life is found in the Blood of God, who is Christ on the Cross.
1st Adam's rebellion is the reason that Adam/Eve died literally, and were separated from God spiritually..... instantly.
If you are never born again, then you end up, in "second death", and this is simply to have died on earth here as..John 3:36......and now that "wrath of God", allows you to go to Hell then the Lake of Fire, and stay....= the 2nd Death.
Its interesting that this isnt a death of your spirit, or an end of your agony....its just a spiritual concept, that explains that being separated from God, is a "death", and the 2nd one happens after you die a Christ rejector.
Sin, or the rebellion that Adam decided to commit, caused death to come literally and spiritually upon all humans ever born, other than Jesus.
Jesus had no "sin nature" as His Father is GOD.
"By one man's sin"....= we are born to sin.
Also note that the "sin nature" is the nature of Satan.
He's the Father of sin, and Adam is not his first convert, but Adam is his first human convert.
And.... by the Cross of Christ, we are offered God's Righteousness, so that we become a Son of God, "made Righteous", by God.
To undo this spiritual separation from God that came on the entire human race because of 1st Adam, = the BLOOD of another, the 2nd Adam had to be shed to forever resolve the eternal consequences (curse) that are upon all humanity, because of the 1st Adam's rebellion.
This is God come down from heaven, born of a Virgin, to die on The Cross so that you and i could become an eternal part of His Spiritual Family.
So, the 2nd Adam, who is God manifested in the flesh, JESUS THE CHRIST.... lived a perfect life, sinless, so that by this man's offering of His blood and death and law and commandment keeping, as Jesus fulfilled the law for us also...., God is able to forgive the entirety of humanity their sin...., and bring them back into God's spiritual family, = only based on what Christ has accomplished on the Cross.
God offers this redemption, that is to be joined to God in Spiritual UNION AS A GIFT.

= The Gift of Salvation. and The Gift of Righteousness."""
