Romans 5:15,

15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

You were not made to live your own life, you we're created to live by the life of another. Think about how easy it was to live a sin life, there was absulutely nothing to it. Just because you didn't know if was a nature driving you to do what you did, it was a spontaneous life. You lived according to your creation, in this case it brought heart ache and sorrow but it was your life. So what is the difference between the old man and the new man. The new man Christ is not a hard task master as our previous life, and will not over rule you. He is meek and the scriptures call him a lamb. In this new life surrender to your new nature life is how Christ operates through you. Allowing the mind to be in you as it is in Christ Jesus.

Can you see the difference, the old man had to be suppressed by the mind, now the mind needs compatibility with the Christ in you nature. Life is only found in the Son, so if you are going to work up some religious potion of Christianity to make life work you may get disappointed. This is not worked up, it is simply recieved, it's a gift from the father to his children. Free no charge, you couldn't pay enough, you couldn't pray enough, you couldn't have enough faith, it's simply free. How do we sum up this message of Christ in you the hope of glory, I suppose as our great Apostle Paul did when he called what he had to say about Christ in you as his gospel, Christ in you was Paul's gospel.

That makes the gospel a person, not just any person anywhere, but the person of Christ in you the hope of glory. Now for the nah sayers of; if we don't follow some structure then we will get off coarse. The structure here is the gospel, if the gospel is followed the outcome for the believer is they have a freedom that fits their creation. If the believer hears, "so you mean I can live anyway I please," they have not heard the gospel. We are preaching a person as life and they want to take their false life and live some kind of life to themselves, they are not hearing the liberating gospel of life, a life lived for self is not liberty, it is a life of bondage and disobedience.

Miserable shall you be, there is pleasure in sin for a season but your day will come, why because your father is a hard task master. No because he loves you unconditionally and you will be chastened, and severely in some situations. So this is not a see who can live a life apart for God, but a life that will be well pleasing to your father, based on knowledge and expression of that knowledge. All your father will ever ask of you to do is to live what you know.

Ephesians 2 also brings out the great contrast between the old and the new life which is in Christ by grace.
