Yesterday a charming young man from the JWs came to the door with his little boy. He talked to me for a while and gave me a magazine but after he had gone my heart was so troubled for him and his family that I found myself praying for him on and off all day.
The Watchtower cult call themselves Jehovah's Witnesses but in fact they are FALSE witnesses because they distort or deny the real truth. And the bible has quite a lot to say about false witnesses.
Proverbs 12:17
An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies.
Proverbs 14:5
An honest witness does not deceive, but a false witness pours out lies.
Proverbs 14:25
A truthful witness saves lives, but a false witness is deceitful.
Proverbs 19:5
A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will not go free.

A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will perish.
