President Donald Trump’s campaign on Dec. 1 fired back at Attorney General William Barr after the nation’s top law enforcement official reportedly claimed that officials haven’t seen evidence of widespread election fraud.

“With all due respect to the Attorney General, there hasn’t been any semblance of a Department of Justice investigation,” Rudy Giuliani, a Trump lawyer, and Jenna Ellis, a Trump campaign attorney, said in a joint statement. “We have gathered ample evidence of illegal voting in at least six states, which they have not examined. We have many witnesses swearing under oath they saw crimes being committed in connection with voter fraud. As far as we know, not a single one has been interviewed by the DOJ. The Justice Department also hasn’t audited any voting machines or used their subpoena powers to determine the truth.

“Nonetheless, we will continue our pursuit of the truth through the judicial system and state legislatures, and continue toward the Constitution’s mandate and ensuring that every legal vote is counted and every illegal vote is not. Again, with the greatest respect to the Attorney General, his opinion appears to be without any knowledge or investigation of the substantial irregularities and evidence of systemic fraud.”

Which could be why Barr has made the statement about no proof of fraud.
Reminds me of a woman, one of the many paramours of Bill Clinton, who after the Lewinski scandal made headlines as did his denial, explained how to interpret what Sick Willie says when he speaks to cover wrong doing.
She said, don't pay attention to the words he is saying but listen to how he says them. For him that is truth.
Think about it. "I did not have sex with that woman." (period at end of this sentence which reflects BC's long pause after saying those words. Period means, end of sentence. And of course its information.
Then he said, Ms. Lewinsky.
Ms. Lewinski had no relevant context after that long pause after he'd concluded his statement about the object, sex. And the ambiguous, that woman.

If he'd wanted to be truthful he would have said, I did not have sex with Ms. Lewinsky.
See the difference?

I think Barr's using BC's playbook.
If the DOJ hasn't undertaken an investigation into the alleged fraud in this election then Barr is speaking truth. The DOJ has found no evidence of election fraud.
If you're not investigating election fraud it is true you have no evidence of election fraud.

Now, the question then becomes, if that speaking formula is applicable to Barr, why is he making a public statement of that nature?
