This will help Senior citizens AND completely restore the dignity to the foodservice industry.

Foodservice has been deteriorating ever since the tax on tips has been instituted. It's cut into the salaries of the whole industry. From cooks to dishwashers and not just waitstaff because now waitstaff has to be paid a wage to pay the taxes.

Pay waitstaff nothing, pay cooks and dishwashers more. The back of house (Except dishwashers) now become careers instead of low paid positions. Same with waitstaff.

Then the taxes on seniors is abysmal treatment. If they have a job outside of Social security fine....tax those earnings and incomes.

This can help a LOT of people...spur the economy and as a result generate more tax dollars.

Inflation has gone up so much, seniors are hurting. During covid people were paid to stay home, more than seniors on social security was paid. I thought that was unfair back then. Social security wasn't taxed for a long time, until the Ronald Reagan presidency with a democratic congress passed the tax on social security. That tax needs to go.
