Many can not receive their healing or provision from God due to their unbelief.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
KJV

As we see in the passage that there is more to belief than just SAYING I believe. We must not only say it with the mouth but be FULLY convinced in our heart and not doubt if we plan to receive from God.

If your name is Sam and someone came up to you and said that your name is NOT SAM.. you would not accept that as truth because you know and are FULLY convinced that your name IS SAM. That is how God wants us to take His Word.. fully convinced that what He has promised rather, good to our ears or bad, IS Truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth and it WILL come to pass, so believe!

If the Word says our healing comes by FAITH in God to heal you and that Jesus already paid the sin debt so that now if we stumble and sin we can repent and turn from it and ask forgiveness and the PRAYER of Faith shall bring healing from God.
When we pray for our family or someone who has known us, most times they can not receive their healing. Why? because they can not get over the fact that it IS YOU, THE ONE they know....they are not putting their faith in GOD who is doing the work THROUGH you, so due to them still thinking of you as just a man, instead of a man of God, they can not have the faith to receive from God. For without faith it is impossible to please God. God can heal anyone at any instance, but He will not reward unbelief.

Matt 13:54-58
54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
KJV

So if you seek God's help in anything that is according to God's will, meaning His Word, SAY what you are believing for and then settle in your heart that it is on it's way rather it comes in 1 min or 1 month or 1 year etc.... Just know that as long as you do not doubt no matter what it looks like, feels like, seems like, sounds like because sometimes you are tested for your PATIENCE to believe, that God WILL do it as He promised.
Mix nothing with this faith EXCEPT a Big helping of God's Word to back up the things you are hoping for if Doubt try's to rear it's ugly head, for that is our MEDICINE, That is our source for ALL THINGS in life... For Jesus is the Word of life and the Word is health to all who find them and apply them to their life to walk in. They bring peace, health, prosperity, love when we overcome contrary words that are anti-Christ, meaning they oppose God's Word of truth.

We are the seed of Abraham according to the promise and just as our father Abraham could not see the thing that God had promised and it looked, felt, seemed, sounded SO impossible, he waivered not and it came to pass. IF we are his seed, then we are of good blood that follow in our father's steps of faith.
Rom 4:18-21
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
KJV
The Bible is a full of God's promises for those WHO CAN RECEIVE IT AS TRUTH!
Ask and then start giving glory to God for the thing that HE IS DOING for you! If you are believing for healing, then once you have repented and prayed for healing do not see yourself still sick for as a man thinketh so is he. See yourself getting better for it takes FAITH to do that and that is what moves God, He will do nothing for unbelief or mixed faith with something else that will get the glory.
