Romans 6:4 (NASB20)
Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life…

Hebrews 4:10 (NASB20)
For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.

Walking in newness of life and entering into His rest are one and the same, the same truth is being put forth…

The truth that is being put forth is entering into the fullness of one’s salvation, as it can be entered into by faith, and enjoyed while still living in the body of this death..

Though the body of sin still clings, and might occasionally get the upper hand and be able to manifest itself, but once it is brought to light, then, repentance comes swiftly, with a humility that knows it can do nothing but humble itself in a deeper degree before the Hand that can make it free from sin, that being, a greater manifestation of Christ, and a lesser manifestation of own will…

For the pursuing of righteousness has now taken the place of the pursuing of own will…. So therefore does the faith of the heart fervently cling to its death in Christ that it might cease from its own will so the rest of God might manifest itself…. For from death comes life, and for the new to grow, the old must die, so therefore does one walk by trusting God into their death in Christ…

Then one gains great confidence as this trusting in God tastes the truths of one’s salvation, that the old things have indeed passed away and all things have become new… Life itself becomes a manifestation of joy to itself, as the freedom and joy that righteousness brings in the life is experienced….

For the manifesting of the Kingdom of God is why Christ came, and that manifestation is righteousness peace and joy being experienced in the life, and that being experienced in life, is one walking in and enjoying the fullness of one’s salvation…

For when Jesus died, the believer died, and as the truth of this truth is tasted, the rest of God and walking in that rest, is itself experienced and enjoyed….

Be blessed in experiencing and walking in the rest of God that is our’s in Christ….

@Not me I do love how in John 14.27 the peace that the Lord gives is not as the world gives...
