A vision of The Lord's faithfulness.

Many years ago, when I was having a sleep test, I was asked by the technician monitoring my sleep test, "Why do you sleep with your hands in the air."

All I could think of was that I was asleep at the time and as such I did not know. All that I do know now was that I had survived many nights sleeping even though I had a sleeping disorder where I stopped breathing with relatively short interval between these events.

Last night I had a closed vision when I went to bed. In this vision I saw myself in a yellow kayak at sea. In front of me was a wall of water, like a tsunami wave. It was a terrifying sight as I looked up to see how high it was, and I was like an ant compared to its height and fury. It was just about at its peak and ready to come crashing down on top of me. The sound of the water was deafening. I stood up in the kayak and held my hands up as if I was giving God the praise. Then I closed my eyes, waiting for the impact, which would have completely destroyed me. Then there was complete silence. The roaring sound had disappeared. I finally opened my eyes, and the sea had calmed to a gentle lapping of waves against the kayak. Vision Ended

I can't help but be reminded of Jesus calming the storm on the Sea of Galilee.

Blessed be the peacemakers, for they shall be called the Children of God. (Matthew 5:9)

For those that truly are, you will understand this vision more in the days ahead. And for the rest, you will be caught unaware.

The wave seems to point to God's wrath IMO. But we are not children of wrath, so it washes over us.
