Slavery in the United States has a dark history.

It was not only the African people that were slaves early on. There were others. And someone that defied the slavers might be openly beat and even killed no matter what their color.

During an open hanging there might be made fear among the people of the town or group for those new and also those that did not desire that inhumane treatment of other humans.

In Christ's time it was no different, and he was crucified in that dark spiritual city of Sodom and Egypt.

Christ's followers were in danger back then. And for whatever reason that slavery eventually reached near to our history as the civil war in the United States ended in the 1800's.

God desires freedom of choice. And for people to choose for themselves and desires for us to be like him which is why he gave us Jesus his son for example. Also God has worked thruought the ages to free mankind from slavery and hell and death of sin. We see that and those blessed examples in the holy bible.

Many brave men and women, including black people fought for freedom back then. It was later aided by the civil rights movement of the 60's and continues today.

Slavery is also paralleled in actions and thought disorders of hate. And treating people as less than themselves in a way.

God is love, and sometimes workers of evil must be dealt with, and God does that and often with the help of good men and women. And that is healthy love of a father. God is a God of order and not chaos.

There are still persecution of God, his creations including his adopted children in Christ.

Let's pray for everyone to be given a fair chance in life. Equality in human rights, even if we have authorities in our nation.

We certainly are not all created equal due to the human body and variations in disabilities. But we always should be treated equal as to our basic human rights.

God knows each of his creations and loves us as unique as we might be from each other or similar. He certainly desires our salvation and eternal life to someday be part of his loving family and heavenly kingdom.

Churches and organizations today can be part of that same love. God blesses those that serve him and his family.

Thank You.
