So, today in the gym, this young man, about 27, starts pouring out his heart to me.
People are working out around us, and the gym is brightly lit.
We didnt notice this much.
He was telling me that he's hooked on medical marijuana, and needs it for his anxiety.
And in fact the THC in the Marijuana is probably the root cause of his anxiety.
He's about to become a father again.... having gotten another girl pregnant.
He's not married.
That makes 2 babies he's helped produce in the last 7 yrs.
He's recently unemployed.
His mother went to Jail about 2 months ago on drug related issues, and is facing 5-10 yrs and a huge bail bond that none of them can afford, tho when this young man has money, and that is frequently, as he's an Air Conditioning Specialist, he has been giving it towards her needs.
His slightly younger brother and his wife are hooked on Oxycodone, and are not doing well.

So, as you can see, this young man has a lot on his mind and in his life.
He is overwhelmed.

What did i have to give him?
I had the answer.
First, i gave him sympathy and ZERO Judgment.
I gave him some hugs and total understanding and unconditional love.
I did that first, and why?
Its because you and me, the Christian........we are the only Jesus the hurting and the lost will ever know in person. So, we have to be the love of God and the Love of Jesus for them, so they can experience the care and concern that is how GOD reacts to us.
And THEN..... i mention some things about Jesus to him. Not harshly, and not aggressively, but gently, i told this person who is aware of God, and would acknowledge that they believe... i told them that God is close and Jesus is near.
See, this person needs a life-raft. They need a port in a storm. They dont need my judgment or my condemnation. They dont need directions to the church. Then dont need to be told about the wages of sin, as they are living in those wages and it HURTS....SO..... MUCH.
So, as Jesus came to heal these with broken hearts and broken lives, we are to be for them exactly that love that MENDS.

So, when you meet one of these, and you will.... just remember to love them as God does.
That is what they need., and you must be that for them, in a gym, in a store, on a street, in a hospital......
Be that gentle loving hug from God..... as that hug is the healing, is the repairing that begins to mend a broken life and a broken heart.
See, its the goodness of God, its the love of God, its the mercy of God, that causes people to go to Him......and we are to be that for them so that they can find the way back.

Yes @Behold it is through love and kindness, gentleness and not being judgmental that people we see the love of Jesus in us. It is not by pointing fingers or through harsh words of condemnation which will have the opposite effect of driving people away.

Jesus was harsh to fakirs.. He had no use for pride filled fakirs......and still doesn't.

But to the humble, to the true seeker, to the person who is looking for truth, Jesus was kind, merciful, and loved them.
WE are to be the same.

Ladies and Gentlemen.....*THIS* is Christianity! A Splendid Post by a man being used of God....

All of you “Legalists” and “Religionists” out there that “Crave” Laws to keep so that you can show God how “good” you are and think that you can Merit Heaven? Behold has shown how one keeps the ONLY Law that Jesus left us with this side of the Cross...
Paul called it “ The Law Of Christ” and it goes like this—-“ Take on The Burdens Of Others”...... Yes, that’s the only Law that we have and it’s the only Law that we need....Behold has been blessed by God ....it is my prayer that he continue to be blessed, and of course , he will.....
