1 Corinthians 11:1

Paul, the apostle to the gentiles....= knew how to enjoy the best of times, and also how to face the worst it could be.
He told us he had "finished his course'.... = as in "obstacle" course.
He was once "snuck" out of a City, in a basket to escape being murdered, and that basket is the same type that Jesus used , one of them, to feed 5000 men and their family using loaves and fishes.
Isn't that interesting?
As you have the Apostle to the Gentiles, in the 'time of the gentiles" (right now) who wrote most of the NT, not including the Gospels or The Revelation.
Paul is "the man".....when it comes to church doctrine and everything else we need to know....as His epistles are the "go to".. they are the most "bread", and there he was in a BREAD BASKET.... the same type that The Lord Jesus used to feed 5000+
Isnt the Bible interesting.....?

Also, Paul didnt say he had been perfect all the way to the end of his Life, . He said that he had "kept the faith" and that because he did, a "crown of righteousness" was waiting for him : "up there".
And that is very interesting, as down here He is the sole Gentile apostle who gave us the Gospel of the "Gift of Righteousness" and the "Gift of Salvation" , "Justification by Faith".... and all the info that literally details what it truly means to be "in Christ" and "Made Righteous" and "one with God".. etc, etc, ....that is the "Gospel of the Grace of God", Pauline Doctrine..... Pauline Theology.

And most of all He gave us this..

2 Corinthians 5:19

So.......as Paul was explaining....IF life is not a test, then what is it????

We the born again have "tribulation" in this world, that is related to taking a stand for Jesus and for Gospel Truth, and for God's righteousness..
And then, Life itself is a long hard test, even for us who are : "in the world but not of it."
Unbelievers have a life test also, but they have a real problem... = they have no HOPE..... ZERO.
They are alone in this devil run world, without Christ.

We have Hope .... we have Jesus.... we have Romans 8:28.

They have nothing but this......... The devil as their father and .....John 3:36

Re: We have the: Hope

The Greek word translated "hope" throughout the New Testament-- e.g.
Rom 12:12, Eph 2:12, Eph 4:4, and 1Pet 3:15 --refers to more than
crossing one's fingers while in the back of their mind dreading the worst.
Instead: it speaks of knowing in advance what to expect in the future, viz:
anticipation; roughly defined as confidently looking forward to something
and fully expecting to obtain it.

Well; I know from years of experience with quite a few Christians that many
don't know for proof-positive what's in store for them when they pass on;
and many even believe it is impossible to know for sure.

Most "christians' don't read their bible, nor do they believe it.
"Opinion" is their religion that is pretending to be "faith".
"what i think" is their Theology.

If they studied their New Testament and believed it, then they would understand that when they read that the born again are "in Christ", "one with God", and """" seated in heavenly places"""" = ALREADY... and that Christ is in them, and they are become the "temple of the Holy Spirit", FOREVER... ... then if they studied all this and BELIEVED it, then they would not fall victim to devil led deceivers who would try to convince them on "forums" and from "pulpits" that they can't know they have Eternal life.

If they would READ that the apostle John said they can "KNOW they have "eternal life",

1 john 5:13

vs reading some deceived fool's "opinion" they found on a "christian" forum or heard in a CULT's pulpit, then they could sleep a lot better knowing that Heaven is theirs and God has them for eternity.

There are NO born again in Hell.

There are NO unbelievers in Heaven.

Believe it.

The hope explained in post No.2 is humanly impossible to produce; which is
likely why it's an empowerment instead of an effort.

Rom 15:13 . . May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you
trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy
Spirit.

Reader,

There is the world's "Peace", and that is the rush, the instant gratification, the carnal appeal to the flesh, that comes from a temporary outside source.

Then, there is "The Peace I GIVE, (Jesus said) is not as the world gives".
And He's right about that, once again, as He is the "Prince of Peace", He is "Shalom" to your soul, and He accomplishes this by living inside the born again, joined in spiritual union.
"Christ IN YOU< (if you are born again, and not just a water baptized religious fakir)........."Your Hope of Glory"

The gentile times ended when Jesus became King Be. We then entered into the last day stretch of this world. Do you literally believe we are not in the last days yet? We believe we are in the tail end of them sir.

Is Jesus here?
Are the Born reigning with King Jesus.?
Then if not, you should consider getting out of a cult that has led you into a lot of incredibly deceived Theology.

Find yourself here, Robert.

The key to understanding is what is the appointed times of the Gentiles. So let me ask you, what do you understand that term to mean Be?

1Pet 3:15 . . Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks
you for a reason for your hope.

The Greek word translated "hope" in 1Pet 3:15 is elpis (el pece') which
means to anticipate (usually with pleasure) and to expect with confidence.
Note the elements of anticipation, expectation, and confidence.

In other words: elpis hope isn't wishful thinking, rather, it's a know-so hope
rather than a cross your fingers hope. So, unless someone knows for proof
positive, beyond even the slightest glimmer of sensible doubt, that their ticket
to heaven is secured and in the bag, then of course it is impossible for them to
comply with Peter's instructions seeing as they would not have the kind of hope
about which he wrote.

Rom 12:12 . . Rejoice in hope.

When people are praying for the best, while in the back of their mind
dreading the worst, they have absolutely no cause for rejoicing; no; but they
do have plenty of cause to fear the unknown.

Eph 4:4 . .You were also called to the one hope

So when people are in doubt about their afterlife circumstances; it's a sure
fire indication that they have not yet responded to the call to the one hope.

Most born again have been deceived into believing that they can lose their salvation by a devil led bible twisting deceiver.
This is why they fear dying and never feel secure with God or with their Salvation, and this is exactly what Satan wants them to believe, so that their Christianity has no joy, no power, and no certainty.

Yes sir I am. The Gentile times ended when Jesus was crowned as King. We are in the last days, Jesus' presence Mat 24:3, and the last days will end when the Kingdom comes, at the end of the tribulation Be. That is our understanding of it, time will reveal if either of us are correct in our understanding on it.

Jesus wasn't crowned as King on earth.
He was the Lamb sent to the Cross for your sin.
He's coming again, as King.
Not here yet.
Jesus wasn't crowned as King on earth.
Very true sir, he resides in heaven and it took place there.
He was the Lamb sent to the Cross for your sin.
Jesus was referred to as the sacrificial lamb for our sins, I agree. Jn 1:29
He's coming again, as King. Not here yet.
Very true, we believe his coming is soon, perhaps you do as well.

You are talking about Rev 19.
This happens after the Rapture.
We're not there yet.
The rapture happens when Jesus returns Be, and then the war is on. It will not take them long to remove satan and his cohorts, then the Kingdom comes, what we have both prayed for.

Actually the appointed time of the nations is prophesied mostly, if not exclusively in the Book of Daniel Be. Do you know what that time period is sir?
