What are you favorite traditions for giving thanks?

I can't say I have any traditions as such...I just do it because back in the 60's I learned that God wants us " Give thanks in and for all things.." ...both the good and the bad. But we only tend to do it when things are going well.
The sacrifice is in doing it when the day is not going well...just give thanks always. 'For this is the will of God in Christ , concerning us.'
