The doctrine of resurrection is the foundational doctrine of the New Testament, the New Testament mentions resurrection 104 times. Christianity is the only religion with a living cardinal, dead Buddha, dead Brahma (Hinduism), dead Mohamed, etc. The pride and glory of Christianity is the empty tomb. Jesus has risen again. On the cross Jesus cried out, "It is finished" and the Father approved "Amen", by raising His Son from the dead. If Jesus did not rise from the grave, we would be most miserable because we are still in our sins, we are still lost forever (1 Cor 15:16-19). Jesus foretold that He would die and that after 3 days He would rise again Matthew 16:21. If the resurrection is real, then Jesus is really the Son of God, this is the miracle on which other miracles will survive or fall. If this greatest miracle is true, then it is true that all other miracles are acknowledged.

1. By the resurrection of the Lord
  • Empty tomb. (Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:5-7)

  • Testimony of the Angels. (Matthew 28:46; Luke 24:5-7 )

  • Those who spoke to him after his resurrection: Peter, Mary, Cleopas, and Thomas.

  • Jesus ate, drank, and showed nail marks on his hands and ribs to his friends after his resurrection.

  • 500 believers saw Him at the same time 1 Corinthians 15:6.

  • Jesus appeared to Stephen as the martyred deacon Acts 7:56.

  • The Lord appeared to Paul on the road to Damascus, Acts 9:5.

  • The testimonies of millions of people have proven Him to be the living Savior.

  • By irrefutable proof Acts 1:3
    2. Explanations of the Lord's Resurrection
  • Conspiracy theory deceiving: Claiming that disciples conspire with each other to make up the story of the Lord's resurrection for believers.

  • The fainting theory: It is said that Jesus only fainted because the soldiers did not kill Him, thanks to the cold tomb and incense brought Him back to life, - This theory is completely wrong because Jesus himself was stabbed by the soldier, blood and blood overflowing. In addition, those spices are poisons that can only kill Jesus more, not bring Him back to life.

  • Illusion theory: Assuming that the disciples wanted to see Jesus again and they kept thinking about his resurrection, in their imagination they thought they had seen the Lord. - The Bible tells us that the disciples did not believe and did not understand when the Lord would rise again. Thomas himself, after hearing people say that they had seen the Lord, but still did not believe, until he touched Him with his eyes and ears. So did the other disciples, so much so that the Lord rebuked them for not believing those who saw Jesus testifying against Luke 24:25.

  • Ghost theory: The disciples only saw a ghostly figure of Jesus and thought they had actually seen Him resurrected. Jesus himself denied this theory when He said, "The ghost has no flesh and no bones, but you see that I have", the ghost did not eat or drink, but the Lord ate with the disciples. (Luke 24:39,43).

  • Myth theory: It is just a myth told by the ancients due to fabrication, not real. - The entire Bible and the palpable evidence of the Lord's resurrection disprove this theory, for there is no such thing as a lie that is convincing and can stand long in the face of unbelieving attacks and destruction. breaking of time like that.

  • Correct explanation: We can only admit that Jesus himself rose from the dead as He said, see Acts 2:24.
    3. The resurrected body of the Lord
  • The body has flesh and bones Luke 24:39.

  • The body is very glorified Philippians 3:21.

  • The immortal body cannot die anymore Romans 6:9.

  • Spiritual body 1 Corinthians 15:44.

  • Spirit bodies can pass through the walls of a building John 20:19.
4. How is Jesus resurrected?

  • By the power of Bishop Acts 2:23,24; 3:15; 5:30.

  • By the power of the Holy Spirit 1 Peter 3:18.

  • The result of the Lord's resurrection

  • Proving the existence of God. If there is no God, how can Christ rise from the dead? He rose again because the living God raised Him up.

  • Proving the Deity of Jesus Rom 1:4.

  • It means that salvation is the finished event. Jesus said that salvation was complete when He died on the cross, and the resurrection itself confirmed that connection.

  • Jesus' service ensures that everyone else will be resurrected:
  • The righteous are resurrected to eternal life.
+ The Unrighteous resurrected to eternal judgment and torment.

  • The Lord's resurrection prepares Him to fulfill His promise "I will return and take you with Me."

  • "The power of his resurrection" (Philippians 3:10), is an experience we can enjoy today: it means living in the freshness, of life that comes to us, through that the Risen One lives His life anew in each of us.

Blessing!
If the truth in said scriptures is not good enough to exhort the peoples and to draw folks to Christ .
THEN I TELL US all those people did not desire Christ and will not be drawn to CHRIST , but rather to another jesus .
IF i have to bring folks to church and keep folks in church by preaching wordly things , THEN rest assured
they will never know Christ. For we cannot bring the world to Christ by wordly means , nor can we grow in Christ by wordly means .
Its simply mans means for church growth . AND IT WILL NEVER WORK .
And though the churches will grow and grow quickly
NONE will know CHRIST . And the end of that
will be many fish cast out of the net .
IF we fish by wordly means , we catch only the world
and we draw them only to the darkness and not to CHRIST .
I PRAY TO GOD folks will start preaching BIBLE SOUND doctrine in those churches
and cease all the wordly allures and rather preach CHRIST and all bibical truth .
Just a wonderful reminder jennifer .
