You seek knowledge? I prefer wisdom but above all understanding.

I was 19 and a long way from home. Middle of the Gulf of Mexico on an oil rig. Leaving my wife and infant son for weeks at a time to make enough money to survive. I was scared and alone. I picked up a bible somewhere on my journey and tried my best to read myself to sleep. To no avail. I didn’t have a clue what I was reading. Couldn’t understand hardly any of it. Like I was reading tongues! But I prayed that night that God would help me and give me knowledge of what I read when I opened that bible. I fell asleep praying. The next night after work I lay in my bunk and opened the Bible and to my amazement the words made perfect sense.
God gave me knowledge and understanding that I didn’t have before. Praise God.
Your academic woes are nothing for God. And I believe it is His pleasure to give you the knowledge should you seek Him about it.

Well if you are not getting enough sleep then you have plenty of time to be in His presence. So it appears He has already worked that out for you. ;).
Just kidding..I have the same problem. 6-6 1/2 hours every night. That’s it. I like being up before everyone else but to sleep in every now and again would be awesome.

Every waking hour my friend. I am praying at work and cannot sleep unless I pray. If it comes down to getting urgent matters sorted for the day, I tend to be prompted by this quote from Martin Luther ~ “Work, work, from early until late. In fact, I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer.”
