“NOBODY comes to God lest the Spirit “ DRAW” him” ....The Holy Spirit “DRAWS” men with the Conviction Of Sin......until one understands that he is a Sinner That MUST have a Savior, He has not even entered the “ Starting Gate” Of Christianity......
Believing that God exists —- advancing in your intelligence and insight to believe that there * IS* a god — is a positive move.....it does not save .....even the demons believe there is a god....one must “ TURN” to the True God with Faith in His Son, Jesus Christ n order to be Saved......why turn to God Without a Need to ? One must see the “ Need”......The Need is that you have a Sin Problem .....you are “ Dirty “ and only Jesus can Clean you .....one must Turn to Him ( Repentance) and His Shed Blood Alone to get that “ Cleansing”...
You want it in a Nutshell? Do as the Sinful tax collector did—- Simply and sincerely, cry out to God, “ Lord, have Mercy on me , a Sinner”...... God promises that “ Whoever asks for Mercy shall receive it” .....do that and you will be “ good to go”....... forever.
