Hebrews 11:
In terms of time frame, faith is in the present and hope is about the future. More specifically, often, hope refers to the new creation and eternal life, Titus 1:
We practice hope daily by the Paraclete of peace, Romans 15:
It is not just that we have faith in Christ. We have the faith of Christ, i.e., Christ is our faith and our faith is Christ.1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
In terms of time frame, faith is in the present and hope is about the future. More specifically, often, hope refers to the new creation and eternal life, Titus 1:
Romans 8:2 the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time.
Faith is the present basis of our hope for the future.22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
We practice hope daily by the Paraclete of peace, Romans 15:
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
