The Bible states that 144,000 are redeemed from the earth. Why are these taken from the earth? God in His infinite wisdom has chosen from among mankind, exemplary Christians to serve as Kings and Priests in His Kingdom. Why choose them instead of angels? They can fully relate to our needs as humans, having lived as humans on earth.

i do believe that is during the approach of the second coming right before the two prophets do their thing. it probably implies that there is only 144,000 at that time that are faithful.

THIS sounds like another JW error in interpretation. It explicitly explains who are the 144k: male virgins who are Jewish converts from the 12 tribes listed by name - HELLO!
There are 2.65 billion Christians living today and probably billions that have died already.,There are many mansions in heaven.
God promised ALL OF US A PLACE IN HEAVEN. As if God the All powerful Creator of the Universe could not accommodate more than 144k in heaven is absurd and laughable.
The dimensions of the New Jerusalem (heaven) are massive. 1400 mi. X 1400 mi. X 1400 mi., plenty room especially when it is a spiritual realm which looks like earth except it is perfect. So all the beauty we see on earth is there: trees, waterfalls, mountains, etc. Imagine if the vertical dimension included
Hundreds of levels? Since there would be 2.8 billion cubic miles, do the math, there will be plenty of room.

Most of those are already in heaven DP, the start of the gathering of them was the outpouring of holy spirit on Pentecost of 33 CE. We believe the first resurrection occurred shortly after Jesus was enthroned as King, so now as they die, they are changed in a twinkling of an eye, and those left alive upon Jesus' return will expire then and rise to meet him in the air.

You are correct Ron, we have a different interpretation, both of us cannot be correct in our understanding.

Now I am building a house for the name of Jehovah my God, to sanctify it to him, to burn perfumed incense before him, (2 Chronicles 2:4)

And who is up to the task of building him a house? For the heavens and the heaven of the heavens cannot contain him,' (2 Chronicles 2:6)

God is a Spirit, and those worshipping HIM MUST worship with SPIRIT and TRUTH. (John 5:24) Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshippers will worship the FATHER with SPIRIT and TRUTH, for indeed, the FATHER is looking for ones like these to worship HIM. (John 4:23)

The scriptures are not your strong suit Ron. As long as you keep that millstone of religious idolatry around your neck, you will remain blind. It's dragging you down to a place you won't be heard from again. Turn around.... you're at the point of no return.

  • Luke 17:2
  • It would be more advantageous for him if a millstone were hung from his neck and he were thrown into the sea than for him to stumble one of these little ones.
  • Matthew 18:6
  • But whoever stumbles one of these little ones who have faith in me, it would be better for him to have hung around his neck a millstone that is turned by a donkey and to be sunk in the open sea.
  • Mark 9:42
  • But whoever stumbles one of these little ones who have faith, it would be better for him if a millstone that is turned by a donkey were put around his neck and he were pitched into the sea.
  • Revelation 18:21
  • And a strong angel lifted up a stone like a great millstone and hurled it into the sea, saying: “Thus with a swift pitch will Babylon the great city be hurled down, and she will never be found again.
  • Revelation 18:22
  • And the sound of singers who accompany themselves on the harp, of musicians, of flutists, and of trumpeters will never be heard in you again. And no craftsman who practices any trade will ever be found in you again, and no sound of a millstone will ever be heard in you again.

Yes the New World Translation is certainly not - I avoid it like the plague. Did you know that Frederick Franz who had 2 years of Greek translated the Word into the NWT inntue 1950's?. In a courtier of law He could not even translate one verse of Hebrew. Hopefully since then you have made some changes from his hack job. If course if one is not filled with the Holy Spilled and educated, the results are mist assuredly flawed. Christians scholars - I mean those with PhDs who know how to exegete scripture, know Hebrew, Koine Greek, experts in the field of theology have all agree that the NWT is the only translation that has been translated to conform to a religious belief system. Your organization used to use the American Standard, but found those conflicting verses that didn't work well with your views - so you changed them. Inserting Jehovah where it isn't or just a subtle " a god" in John 1:1 or a a word or two in Col. 1:16, 17 and hundreds of other distortions keeps your congregation believing what they are fed.

So you charge me with Luke 17:2 that is talking about those who leading children into sin. Nice. Par for the course and just another example of how you distort, misinterpret and apply scripture. Are you related to Frederdick Franz?

The scriptures I used were QUOTES from Jesus Christ that you reject. I'm simply calling a spade.... a spade.

God is a Spirit

The idolatry around your neck doesn't ward off demons... it invites them.....

Matthew 12:45
Then it goes and takes along with it seven different spirits more wicked than itself, and after getting inside, they dwell there; and the final circumstances of that man become worse than the first. That is how it will be also with this wicked generation.”

May I ask Ron why that same version you use translated theos as a god at Acts 28:6 instead of God as they did in Jn 1:1? Do you think by doing that they fully translated them differently deliberately? Why do you suppose they did that sir??
