The Bible teaches there are many gods and lords, then it goes on to say, but to us, There is one God, and one Lord. It must be understood that us are Christians. So the relevant question is, who is this God and this Lord?
Many when asked will quickly respond that Jesus is Lord, however many of those will also state that Jesus is God, which is clearly not a Bible teaching. In fact Jesus had a God, does this make sense for God to have a God? Of course not. Jesus spent his entire earthly life serving and worshipping his God, and clearly stated to satan when he tried to get Jesus to worship him rather than his God.
What was Jesus' reply to satan? Do you think that Jesus wanted his followers to worship the same God exclusively that he worshiped?
