A Halloween debate,
Somewhere in the outer limits of fantasy, in the twilight zone of reality. There lives a village legend of the wherewolf.
Let's say there is a man in an old village in the 1600's. Let's say any village. The village is populated by 500 men, 750 women. Also many elderly and children.
There are 5 men that fancy themselves as "ladies men", "romantics" and "macho men". The other guys in the village look up to them as they are quite handsome and all the women blush as they are most attractive to them.
Each has a wife, and each has 5 lady mistresses that their wives are unaware of.
They already have 5 children, also each has 4 children with each mistress.
The children grow to beautiful young women, great young men. They begin to choose spouses for themselves. They choose from the village of 500 and 750.
"How do they know the proposed fiancé is not a sister or a brother? And hope to not accidentally marry a sibling too close to their own genetics.
And what if also those 5 men, were instead 7.5 women quite beautiful that had 7.5 lovers their husband were un aware of.
The gene pool selection becomes murky-er.
Thus we know why adultery and fornication are not allowed in God's laws.
Fornication being sleeping with villagers that one is not married to. And therefore one is not married.
Adultery is sleeping with a stranger one is not married with.
I sleep on these ideas somewhere in the twilight hours.
But where is that wolf sleeping in grandma's cottage, and did I send little red riding hood to fetch grandma some poor age.
Cheers,
