Romans 8:16 (NASB)
The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,

To know, recognize, and understand the witness of the Spirit in us. As being the witness of the Spirit in us.... This understanding and knowledge, brings with it, such a security of being taught inwardly by God Himself. That the heart rejoices at the knowing that it knows the voice of God in the heart...We are told the same truth in different words in the scripture;

Colossians 3:15 (NASB)
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.

still again;

Philippians 4:7 (NASB)
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Peace of Christ in our hearts is the witness of the Spirit in us...It is that that bears witness that we are the children of God...

So than, that which naturally follows to those that would want to experience more of God in their lives is a deeper and more listening to this peace that passes all comprehension in ones heart... If something upsets this peace, do something else. It matters not if you understand the why of it, only that it upsets the peace, only that it upsets the witness of the Spirit in you....For it is the Spirit’s job in you to guide you into all truth...The letting Him do His job is where the blessings of life come....For He has not left us alone but kept His promise to come make His abode in us... The faith of the heart that sees and practices this is a faith that knows no bounds when it comes to that which would stop it from growing in Christ....Which is the refusal to listen to this peace, this witness, this voice of God in the heart...

For all that has been said above is a description of the personal relationship we as believers have with the Christ in us...It is to the growing of this relationship that is to be of first importance in our lives... For our relationship with Christ is to be our all... Blessed is the heart that desires it, not blessed is the heart that achieves it...For there is always and invitation in the heart to come up higher..

To the listening to the voice that invites us to come up higher be our hearts..

A fellow servant of His, Not me
