Amen. I thought we needed a thread which encourages and builds up rather than those which are negative and tear down.

In the bible we will find that every Word ever recorded was for our building up our edification . From every warning to every promise
every Word inspired by God is good for our souls . Now leap up and praise the King Jesus .

The Word of the Lord endures forever!
"Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king."
1 Peter 2:17 NASB
"Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins."
1 Peter 4:8 NASB1995
The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:
1 John 2:4-5 NASB1995
But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
1 John 3:17-18 NASB1995
Thoughts: These verses show love to be an action word. God's example was Christ on the cross. I realize I can never outdue that or want to ever try. I just owe Him my entire life. His great love for me overflows from me to others in deed and truth. I want to always keep the Lord's commands, because I have a great love for Him. Without Him, my life would not be worth living. I want my finances, my belongings, and my actions, be used to show love to others. And for God, not only these things, but my worship and songs of praise also.
