Wrong Discipleship

Wrong discipleship is committed as a lifestyle, but its foundation is always found within wrong believing.
If you believe wrong, you will live wrong.
Believing Right produces right living, =according to God's idea of how your discipleship is to be offered to Him.
Discipleship is really an offering of our life to God, because He has given His life for us.

Wrong believing will produce discipleship error, and no spiritual fruit, and in fact you will find your Christianity to feel like work and effort and strain, instead of joy and peace and hope.
If you are not enjoying God everyday, then you are not in the right mind, and are believing wrong.
We the born again, are supposed to ENJOY GOD.
We are supposed to enjoy the GIFT of Righteousness, the GIFT of Salvation.
We are supposed to feel warmed and adored by God's eternal Love.

Discipleship is about DOING.
But its doing according to right believing.

I want to give you an idea....
Look at this and if you can see it, then you are in the right understanding, the right mind, regarding HOW to perform your discipleship everyday.

The girl she looked a pretty sight
temptations flame was burning bright
run my boy another said
don’t let the demons in your head

Though Egypt be right on your tail
their spears and armour won’t prevail
march straight ahead into the deep
and know the promise God will keep

Though raggedy with little speed
your doing is your ear to heed
not one hoof will be left or stranded
while you do what God commanded.

DOING


while you do what God commanded.

God commanded that you believe on Jesus.
That's his command.
If you do that, God will take you as His Son.
However, if you try to enter heaven by self effort, or keeping commandments, you will die "in your sin", and burn in the lake of fire.
God does not accept YOU, to save you and keep you. He only accepts what HE provided to save you and Keep you
= HIMSELF ON The Cross.

Believing in Jesus means taking on his values....taking on his values means doing God's will as Jesus did.....it means keeping his Commandments because those are the values Jesus lived by......it means gratitude revealed in performance.....performance as directed by his Commandments not our own ideas ......it means life enhancing behaviour as opposed to life diminishing behaviour.

It does not mean a mental assent to a point of view and then the disregard of God's Commandments......that is presumption not faith; the fatal error of the majority.

God's Commandments are the standard, the benchmark by which judgement is determined on that great day when all will render an account of their lives.

Believing in Jesus means taking on his values....taking on his values means doing God's will as Jesus did.....it means keeping his Commandments .

You can be an atheist and yet try to live a good life "as Jesus did".
Its meaningless.
So, it's a fine thing to understand that if we are born again, we are to submit to God, and offer our lives, but, its a false idea that rejects God's Grace to believe that if you do this, is WHY God accepts you, or not.
He does not accept you based on you.
