Mark 14:51-52 King James Version (KJV)

51 And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:

52 And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

Why did Yeshua/Jesus leave the linen cloth? Do you think it is more dignified to have the naked body covered?

Furthermore, how do you understand Mark 14:51-52:

Why did Yeshua/Jesus run away from young men naked?
Please read the whole passage and not just one two verses.

The passage talks about a young man, not about Jesus.

Does the young man put linen cloth on Yeshua's/Jesus's naked body? Do the young men lay hold on Yeshua/Jesus?
Neither, the simple reading of the passage is the man was following the arresting party, is seen and an attempt is made to detain him, all they get is his covering and he runs away naked.

This is all we can say on this subject. Elihoenai asking the questions being asked is fruitless. The answer you gave him is true. I saying this young man is possibly Mark was because the book of Mark is the only Book that records this incident. That doesn't mean that's absolutely true I was simply saying it was a possibility. What the scriptures give us on the incident is all we have, we can't really go beyond what is said in the scriptures.

Are you saying that Yeshua/Jesus was not naked at anytime or just in a loincloth during the crucifixion?

Please reread the passage again.
It occurs before Jesus gets to the high priests house, so has nothing to do with what Jesus was or was not wearing.

Matthew 27:27-28 King James Version (KJV)

27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.

28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.

Yeshua/Jesus was stripped naked. Why did the Roman Soldiers put on Yeshua/Jesus a scarlet robe?

Job 5:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

Being clever is no measure that you understand anything that is written in the Scriptures/Bible. Did Albert Einstein understand the Scriptures/Bible?

You both are extremely patient, ...maybe too patient. You should've called him out on his inexcusable error, right from the OP.
This guy interprets Scripture as either a complete immature child, or a deceiver?
His exegesis on the verses that he brought up within these 15 posts, is barely worth commenting on.

You didn't answer the question. This thread is about Yeshua Messiah/Jesus Christ, And Him Crucified.

"His exegesis" (the ops statements in the first two posts) has nothing factually true in it.
Why is this even a thread at all ?

See the first two posts: they apparently assume Jesus was the young man who ran away... totally in error ....

Yet as "love hopes for the best", perhaps the op is working with/ from a terrible translation of Scripture, or was only told such things and had no one to tell him (or her) the truth ... ?

The question is pointless as the condemned were routinely humiliated, being stripped was only one part of that humiliation.

I was answering your confusion over the young man who followed the arresting party.
