Your individuality is the way you are handled by your father. Our relationship with our father is as if he only had one son, you. It is if you were the only life to be lived and your father is with you all the time working that life out. Time well spent for learning and growing in his understanding of life as represented in the scriptures. A time when believers can grow up into him, it is as personal as you can get.
The flip side of that is; because it is so personal your father will have access to every area of your life. Now there is nothing wrong with that we just need to know it and quit blaming the devil for everything that happens in this world. If it is the devil at times (I personally believe it is at times) that is hindering a believer it does not matter anyway.
Most situations in life are brought on by the individual, and that doesn't matter either because it is the knowledge you have now that allows you to go through anything and know what is happening. So nothing matters except for what you're father is doing, that is what you need to know. Some time back we were traveling around holding meetings and the folks put together what they named the "it don't matter choir." They had heard enough to know it does not matter, why would life not matter? Life does matter but what an individual goes through only matters for one purpose and that is an understanding that passes all understand.
When a believer knows the reason for all creation they can go through anything because of knowledge. A knowing or knowledge is gained by study, by fellowship (listening to others), by Holyspirit taught knowledge, and the revealed certified gospel of grace Paul preached, Galatians 1:11-12.
So what is the most common way your father leads you? By your understanding! What you know even if it is flawed the father uses your mind, your understanding to lead you as an individual. He does not lead church's all the same, it is never on a corporate level it is always an individual level of understanding. So with that understanding will be very important for growth in the things of God.
So the sooner a believer can take his head out of the sand (ostrich religion of sticking their head in the sand thinking they are missing what's going on hoping it all passes) the better off they will be. Why is that? Because when you know something works for the good (not just saying words but actual knowledge) you will have no problem going through it. It changes your outlook on what your father is doing here and now.
What happens is you handle situations different than you did, you see them differently and you can glory in all things.
