If God spiritualized all His words in the Bible, then no one could read or understand, and thats not His purpose.
Dear Hobie,
Scripture says that God only reveals Christ (who is Truth) to the Elect and to no one else. You are basing your understanding on what has been taught to you in the apostate church and not on what is taught in God's Word.
The apostate church teaches that it is up to mankind to decide to accept Christ or not. And because a person's decision must be based on a certain level of knowledge concerning Christ, they teach that scripture is easy to understand. After all, why would God condemn a person to hell for eternity if Christ does give them a fair opportunity to know Him and accept Him?
However, none of those beliefs are actually taught by scripture.
Firstly, mankind has NO ability to accept Christ without Christ first giving a person the Early Rain of the Spirit. Christ does this work strictly by His own decision to do so. Unless Christ does this work, a person will continue to reject Christ until they die.
Rom 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after
God.
1Cor 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
Secondly, even for those who have been called out and have been given a "measure of faith" (the Early Rain), they still have NO ability to truly understand Christ from scripture. They remain carnal in their understanding and because of such, they will quickly be deceived by Satan via "another spirit" (the spirit of anti-Christ). As a result, they will accept "another Jesus" and "another gospel".
2Cor 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Satan's gospel is very deceptive because it is pleasing to mankind's carnal nature. When Satan's gospel is presented to a carnally minded believer, they accept it
without question because it seems so right to them. When they do, the lose their salvation and spiritually die.
Prov 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Thirdly, Christ loves all mankind and will (at a time of His choosing) save each and every person who has ever lived. Eternal hell is a lie from Satan. In this age, Christ is only saving those who have been chosen from the foundation of the world. No one else will be saved during this age. This age is for the harvesting of only the First Fruits of the harvest. Christ makes this happen by only giving the Latter Rain of the Spirit (and eyes that can see) to His Elect. Without "eyes that can see", a person cannot know Christ (truth) so that they can come out from the deceptions of Satan.
Read this scripture again:
Isa 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 For with stammering lips and another language will he speak to this people. 12 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
To whom does God teach knowledge? And to whom does He make to understand doctrine?
God does
not teach knowledge or His doctrines to anyone except the believers who have been "weaned from the milk". These believers are the Elect
after they have been
converted. They are the "few" who have been called out
and chosen. They have received BOTH the Early and Latter Rains of the Spirit.
And to make it even harder for a carnally minded believer to understand His truth, the truth of God is taught in "another language" (spiritual language). In that language, truth is given "precept upon precept and line upon line; here a little and there a little". God does not lay out His truth in a simple and easy way to understand. It must be assembled and it must start at the foundation (Christ). Then, as a converted believer grows in knowledge, they will be able to add more and more truth to what have have already been shown.
Understanding truth (even for a converted believer) does not come quickly or easily:
Prov 2:1 My son (a converted believer who is a child of God), if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, 2 making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; 3 yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, 4 if you seek it like silver and search for it as for HIDDEN treasures, 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
Isaiah ends his comments by giving us the reason as to why God does it this way. Isaiah says that God keeps His truth concealed so that a called out believer (Early Rain only) will
fall backward (same as falling away), and
be broken (lose their salvation), and
snared and taken (by Satan). When this happens to a called out believer, they will experience their
Day of Evil because they do not yet have the whole armor of God that is only given to them with the Latter Rain of the Spirit:
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Even God's Elect will experience this Day of Evil until Christ comes to them a second time and gives them the Latter Rain.
All mankind will eventually experience this "Day of Evil", too, because it is a step along the pathway that leads to Christ and salvation.
Scripture says that God gives mankind this Day of Evil to humble them:
Ecc 1:13 An experience of evil God has given to the sons of humanity to humble them by it.
After I received the Latter Rain and saw the "Abomination of Desolation" that had happened within me, I, too, was very humbled.
Hobie, will you continue to believe the false teachings of the apostate church or will you accept what Christ teaches us through scripture?
Remember, God's ways are not man's ways. If they were, then this carnal world would know Him.
