The Word of God says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”

Do you believe that everyone who has ever lived has instilled in them a desire to worship God? Do you believe that God revealed Himself to everyone in one way or another as they tried to discover more about God through different ways of approaching Him?
Why are there so many ways of worship?
Great question Daniel, these verses should clear it up for you, keep in mind there has been over 1900 years since these were written explaining the vast number:
(Matthew 24:24) . . .false Christs and false prophets will arise and will perform great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.
(Acts 20:29, 30) . . .I know that after my going away oppressive wolves will enter in among you and will not treat the flock with tenderness, 30 and from among you yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves.
(1 Timothy 4:1) However, the inspired word clearly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired statements and teachings of demons,
(2 Timothy 4:3, 4) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the wholesome teaching, but according to their own desires, they will surround themselves with teachers to have their ears tickled. 4 They will turn away from listening to the truth and give attention to false stories.
(1 John 2:18, 19) Young children, it is the last hour, and just as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared, from which fact we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of our sort; for if they had been of our sort, they would have remained with us. But they went out so that it might be shown that not all are of our sort.

Yes, we were created in God's image with the desire to worship Gen 1:26
Do you believe that God revealed Himself to everyone in one way or another as they tried to discover more about God through different ways of approaching Him?
No, those who sincerely seek Him will find Him. Jesus assigned disciples to go and make disciples, who in turn would do the same thing until they reached all to God's satisfaction and then God would bring this system to its end. Mat 24:14. He educates them at His house and sends them out from there to invite others to come learn about Him Isa 2:2,3
Keep in mind however, once He reaches you with one of His disciples, then it is on your shoulders to either accept or reject the message.
