Before I came to know You
You already knew me,
Knew my strength and weakness
Knew all that I could be,
While still in my Mothers womb,
You saw the future joys and sorrows,
Yes O'Lord, You knew my life's path
For You were already in my tomorrows,
The day dawned when my life changed
Your Spirit had spoken to my heart,
You saw my struggles beforehand
Now The Spirit promises a new start,
I have learned the joy in surrender
Born again I now know You,
What peace there is in forgiveness
How I worship and adore You.
