“The Sign of the Son of Man” contains many new and fascinating understandings of the Scriptures, including:

• How the geometry of solar eclipses specifically identifies Jesus Christ as the Creator of the Universe and the Savior of the World;

• How two pairs of solar eclipses (the first of which will cross over the center of the Christian world and the second of which will cross over the center of the Muslim world) will soon testify to the times of both Jesus Christ's first and second comings;

• How the asteroid Apophis, on its own "second coming" to earth, will serve as “the sign of the Son of Man” "five months" before Christ’s return;

• How 12 numerical “signs,” which can now be repeatedly seen “in the Sun, Moon, and stars,” each directs our attention to Jesus Christ.
These include: the number called “pi,” 3.1415, which points to the Bible’s first Messianic prophecy in its 3rd chapter and 14th and 15th verses; the number 400 which signifies that exactly 4,000 years passed between God’s creation of Adam and the birth of Jesus Christ; the number 19 which represents the date of Jesus Christ’s conception on January 9th (1/9); the number 27.3 which tells us that Jesus Christ’s mother carried Him in her womb for 273 days; the number 109.2 which indicates that both Adam’s creation and Jesus Christ’s birth occurred on the date of October 9th (10/9); the number 186 which signifies that Jesus Christ was born on the Jewish “Day of Atonement,” which was then, and is now, celebrated on Tishri 10, 186 days after the beginning of the sacred Hebrew calendar on Nisan 1; the number 366 which tells us that Jesus Christ spent exactly 36.6 years on earth, between His birth on October 9, 5 BC and His ascension to heaven on May 14, AD 33; the number 6 which informs us that Christ will return to earth exactly 6,000 years after Adam and Eve’s disobedience to God in Eden; the number 20 which signifies that Christ’s second coming to earth will also take place exactly 2,000 years after the first non-Jewish people were baptized as Christians; the number 12 which tells us that “the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky” exactly 12 years of years (12 X 365.243 years) after God made His covenant with Noah; the number 100 which represents the 1,000 years which Jesus Christ will rule over all the earth after His return to it; and one more number “sign” that can now also be seen “in the Sun, Moon, and stars,” that provides us with the date on which Jesus Christ will return to earth to reward His servants, judge this world, and then begin His glorious Millennial Reign.

Many Christians will now understandably object to this last assertion. For we know that Jesus Christ told His first-century disciples, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” (Matthew 24:36 - New American Standard Bible) And we know He also told them, “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority.” (Acts 1:7)
However, I contend that these statements which Christ then made applied only to the time He made them. For we know that He also then told His followers, “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.” (John 16:12 - New American Standard Bible) If Jesus had told His first-century disciples that He would not return to earth for approximately 2,000 years, He would have then greatly discouraged them. But I maintain that things are now very different than they were then. For, as this book shows, we now have many new and compelling reasons to believe that most Christians who are now alive will live to see our Lord’s return. So by Jesus now providing His 21st-century followers with the date of that event He is not discouraging us. Rather, He is now providing us with a very great form of encouragement that we may all soon need to get through some very difficult times ahead.
