When a person repents of their sins to the Father, confesses Jesus Christ as the Son of God and then they are "buried WITH HIM" (BAPTISM) they are at that moment "clothed with Christ" (Gal 3:27) This is when you reach the Blood of Christ. Also at baptism:
1. your sins are remitted (Acts 2:38)
2. You are buried WITH Him (Rom 6:3,4)
3. You are raised "...to newness of life" (born again) Rom 6:3,4
4. You are "added to the assembly in heaven" (Acts 2:47) This assembly in heaven contains all the righteous from Adam to the present time and is growing daily. In other words, "you are added to the 'church' in heaven.
5. The apostle Peter tells us that at "baptism" that "...baptism saves you." 1Peter 3:21. In 1Pe 3:20 Peter tells us about the flood "being a TYPE" wherein 8 sous were save through water then Peter says, verse 21, "...the LIKE FIGURE where baptism now save you..." In the Greek "like figure" is the Greek word "ANTITUPOS." Antitupos is from where we get our English word "antitype." In other words Peter is saying baptism is the antitype to the flood wherein 8 souls were saved.
6. When a believer of Christ repents of their sins to the Father, confesses Jesus as the Son of God and then are Baptized, they have "obeyed the faith."
7. When you are "born again" you changed fathers from earthly Adam to the Father in heaven.
