New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released the 11th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Financial assistance of Rs 2,000 was sent to the accounts of farmers registered under PM Kisan Nidhi. However, if a farmer has not completed e-KYC, then the money will not go to his account.

How to complete e-KYC
Farmers can complete their KYC through the mobile app or on the website of PM Kisan. For this you go to the Kisan Portal. Here you will see the link of eKYC in the farmers corner. On clicking the link, you will be asked for Aadhaar number. Here enter the Aadhar number and image code and press the search button. After that enter the mobile number linked with Aadhaar. OTP will come on your mobile. Fill it in the space provided. Your eKYC will be completed. In case of any problem, you can contact the Aadhar Seva Kendra. Apart from e-KYC, some other rules of registration in the scheme have also been changed. Now farmers will not have to submit hard-copy of land papers, bank passbook, ration card, Aadhar card and declaration form to the Agriculture Department office after registering. Now PDF of all these papers will have to be uploaded on PM Kisan Portal. This has been done taking cognizance of the complaints of fraud coming in PM Kisan Yojana.

All about PM Kisan Yojana
It was started in February 2019 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Uttar Pradesh. The purpose of this scheme was to help the poor and marginal farmers in providing regular income. Under this scheme, financial assistance of more than Rs 21,000 crore has been given in the account of more than 10 crore farmers on Tuesday. The government gives a total financial help of Rs 6,000 to the farmers in installments of Rs 2000-2000 3 times in a year. The first installment of this year was sent to the farmers on January 1.
