"You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them. You crushed Rahab like one of the slain; with your strong arm you scattered your enemies. The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it".

Can God still work miracles? How did He do it in the past, and today it seems as if He is not even present anymore? There was a point in my life when it was a miracle if God would speak to me from His Word, and I prayed that He would speak to me. As I was reading, I started to believe that all the miracles performed from the times of Moses all the way until the Church came into being can still be repeated today, but in a much more personal way. I didn't need to see with my eyes the parting of the Red Sea, but I had my own share of troubles which seemed to make impossible seeing the other side, where I longed to arrive by the grace of God. As time went by, I DECIDED to trust God more each day, believing that everything He created was His, and He still is in control, including myself. The biggest problems that I faced had to do with my family, and believe it or not, the situation in my family started to change. Real faith shown through actions has power. That is, if you believe God still works, not only you will have hope, but that hope will manifest through the things you do. When that happens, your hope is strengthened, building a stronger confidence in God, allowing Him to move more freely in your life, building more hope which builds more confidence in God.....I have decided to let God work freely and watch Him do His work as I trust Him more each day.
