BOOM!

A suddenly comes into manifestation, a trial, a sickness, a fight, a betrayal, a loss, or a catastrophe. Jesus told us that in this world tribulations would be a part of the journey, but that we should be of good spirit, he overcame the world, and by his proxy we can also overcome the world. James through the Holy Spirit supports this theme in his first chapter.

(2) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
(3) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
(4) But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
(5) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
(6) But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
(7) For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
(8) A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1:2-8 KJV

Because we live in an age of convenience, an age of immediate gratification or instant results, many try to bypass the very thing that matures and prepares them for the battles of life and growing in the spirit. It is easy to declare your faith when everything is resolved immediately, but when the resolution lingers and lingers; this is where the truth of one’s faith is measured. It’s been said “ good things come to those wait “, and a truth has never been so profound than “ those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength”. Waiting without Holy Ghost unction is procrastination, however; waiting upon the Lord is the perfecting our spirituality, when we pray God answers and God unction’s us to move forward or to wait patiently. We he guides us to wait, we wait in expectation.

(5) My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
(6) He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved.
(7) In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
(8) Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalms 62:5-8 KJV

In waiting we develop a stronger faith, and greater ability to endure, a completeness that is fulfilling, and a wisdom that can be applied to other sudden occurrences in our lives, knowing God is our refuge in the storms of life. Our willingness to wait is based upon our trust in God, knowing that when we ask and we shall receive, when we’ve sought and we will find, and when we’ve knocked and it will be opened unto us. Why? Because we’ve set our trust like a flint upon the ability of God to sustain us during every trial and in every hardship, he will supply what is needed for our spiritual growth, and then manifest in due season what we need in the physical realm all according to his plans and purposes for our lives. The Holy Spirit expresses to us “ if any of you lack “, we are always in lack somewhere in our lives, but God does not lack in anything, for he is able to supply all our needs. He warns us of the lack of faith in asking which hinders receiving.

(6) But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
(7) For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
(8) A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Brethren keep the faith today by seeking God’s wisdom for your life when you fall into different trials, don’t allow your own carnal double-mindedness to inhibit the blessing of God’s spiritual experience to develop you into more than a conquer through the application of developing the fruit of patience which completes you and gifts you with supernatural endurance to stand upon the solid foundation of the rock of our strength; Christ Jesus unto you receive the deliverance, the healing, the solution, the answer, or the victory in your situation. Selah.

Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
