Hebrews 5:14, 6:1 - "But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity."
In the letter to the Hebrews, the recipients had long been Christians, who by then ought to have been teaching others. Instead, they were still like infants needing to be fed milk (Hebrews 5:12-14).
They were to go on to maturity, to the status of spiritual adults, and to more profound truths concerning our right standing with God and the authority and identity given to the believer as a result of Christ's finished work.
Yield yourself fully to Christ and find in Him the hidden life. Then you will grow in grace and learn to mentor other baby Christians into becoming spiritually mature in advancing the Kingdom.
