1 Corinthians 3:9 - "For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building."
Some believers think faith is a one-way street. They believe in God and wait on God to do the work. They think belief is the only thing they need.
That person does nothing but sit still and procrastinates, waiting for God. "Well, I'll just pray about it." they use waiting on God as an excuse for their own lack of engagement. "If God means for me to have it, I'll have it," they reason.
In order to advance in God's purpose for your life you have to be engaged in the process. God definitely plays a role, but so must you. James 2:26 - "As the lifeless body is dead, so faith without actions is dead."
