The wilderness is the Believer's chrysalis. It is where death gives way to resurrection, transformation takes place, and God prepares us to fly in ways we never imagined possible. It is the only school where you enroll as yourself, but you never truly graduate until your earthly life is over. Every wilderness season removes another layer of self and reveals more of Jesus. Every trial is another lesson. Every act of obedience prepares you to carry a greater measure of His glory.
From revelation comes vision -- from vision -- comes action --- from action comes fruit.
We create an environment where revelation is more likely, by consistently engaging with the Word in intentional ways:
• Biblical meditation—slowing down and thinking deeply and repeatedly about scriptural truth.
• Imagination—picturing ourselves living in that truth.
• Declarations—speaking truth (scripture) out loud until it becomes Rhema to our spirit.
• Hearing/teaching—reinforcing and expanding our understanding through discipling others into an understanding of their Christ identity, right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit.
God still has work to accomplish before His Son's return. He is preparing a spiritual house, a glorious Bride, and a mature people through whom His nature and authority are revealed on earth. If you are alive in this hour and belong to Christ, you have been called for such a time as this. You are called to disciple warriors into an understanding of their Christ identity so they can do battle against the kingdom of darkness and re-establish that which was lost in the Garden of Eden.
The battles will be fierce, but the faith of these champions will not only rout these malevolent forces, it will displace the presently existing evil kingdom with the everlasting Kingdom of God. The enemy knows his time is short and moves to seize control when lawlessness abounds. Evil will be conquered and held at bay by the spiritually confrontational who are effectuating the Great Commission and know their God, trust His purposes, and magnify and demonstrate the Ascended Life in Christ.
