Last week my iPad went down. The screen kept locking up, blurring, then dissolving into nothingness.
So, what’s a person to do? Get angry? Well, yeah. But after that?
I bought a new one. A nice shiny, iPad Mini 3.0.
I wouldn’t use it yet, though. Not until the case I ordered arrives from Amazon. I don’t trust myself without a case.
I drop EVERYTHING.
But before my new case could arrive to fit my new, shiny iPad Mini 3.0, my old iPad started working again. Turns out the reason for the screen mishaps (and the other strange iPad goings-ons) were due to an upgrade to the operating system I installed the week before.
I wasn’t able to downgrade back to the old operating system (thanks Apple, or as I like to call you occasionally, the devil), but I was able to uninstall some apps and make some changes that would make my screen desist from having seizures.
This is great news right? My old iPad wasn’t broken after all.
There was only one problem though. I bought a new iPad Mini 3.0. It has a smaller screen, which since their inception I thought would be more convenient than the screen size of my old iPad. Plus the iPad Mini 3.0 is shiny.
It also came in a new color.
Did I mention it was shiny?
So, it was “dilemma time”.
