My life has been such a mess lately. I've had alot of heartache and have found myself really depressed. It just so happened that my latest troubles coincided with a low in my life! Such beautiful timing! Anyway, something that I've found really comforting, is a day before my world collapsed (or so it seemed to me), there was a prophecy in church. It was this: Rough times are coming, hold on and you'll come through. That was paraphrased of course, but essentially, it was directed at someone. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly how it was phrased. All I remember thinking was someone has got rough times up ahead. I was a little worried. i had been on a pretty good high for a while, and well, we always have conflicts. Sure enough, one day later it all happened. All I could say was, "Thank you Lord for your message." A friend sent me a txt that night with this verse: Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. It was such a comfort to know that while I couldn't see the end (I still can't), Jesus was going to be with me through it all, thick and thin.
If you are going through a tough time, hold on to Jesus. He alone can get you through, he is the only one who will stick by you through thick and thin. Praise and glory to the Holy One of eternity.
