GOT PERSISTENCE?

Persistence is a virtue and dynamic that many fall short of using concerning the obtaining the will of God. Jesus told the Apostles that he had prayed for them that their “ faith fail not “. Faith is reportedly the substance of things hoped for; it is evident through the unseen God who manifests our hopes into reality, if we do not fail our faith in Him. Then we have the clause that so many do not apply to their lives, this clause states that we know we obtain those things we ask for because, we have prayed according to his perfect will for our lives.
We can not lay a hold of a promise that is not for our individual life, we must seek God for his perfect will and then pray and petition Him, and wait upon Him for the manifestation. I use to believe if it is in the word that it is a promise to me, but then as I matured and laid aside those false presumptions I realized that God is not obligated to answer a pray or petition for something that he has not ordained for my life. This is where persistence in seeking his face and not his hand comes into a sober assessment of His perfect will, then I respond by not wasting time in prayer and petition on something that will never be. His word defines whom his children are in Romans 8:14 “ Those who are led by the Spirit of God these are the sons ( children ) of God “.
Sometimes we may not understand the why, or how of not having what we perceive to be a personal promise from the word of God is to our benefit. But when we allow God the reins of our lives, “ the why “ becomes very apparent and then we see how God has grown us, and how He is glorified in the process. Yes Brethren, persistence is a must in seeking and knowing the will of God, total surrender to his ways which are higher than ours is also a must in our relationship with Him and bringing Glory, Honor, and Praise to Him. He is God and we are not, He knows All and we do not, He is Everywhere, we are stationary. He is infinitely wise and if we obey Him we shall benefit first and foremost spiritually and then God will meet and exceed our needs according to his perfect will for our lives.
Brethren keep the faith today by being diligent, persistent, and determined to find God’s perfect will, His personal promises, and your kingdom privileges which are only found in a spiritually charged atmosphere where our Heavenly Father is present and prevalent in the communication. Selah!
Shalom, Agape, and Amen!
