PLANS & STEAM; DELIVER THE DREAM

For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words. Ecclesiastes 5:3 KJV

There is an old adage “ talk is cheap, time will tell “. Another one says “ the proof of desire is pursuit “. Many times in this world we encounter dreamers, those kinds of people you met years ago still talking about a dream they have, but there is no manifestation just colorful words of imagination. There is no dream realized in their lives but the big time is just a head somewhere in their future.

Solomon through the Spirit penned this observation and concluded that a dream comes about by the multitude of business. In other word the abundance of hard work. Unfortunately the mentality of entitlement has sipped into the body of Christ and many think that just speaking positively and speaking the vision or dream they have will bring it into existence. This could be further from the truth. Why? Because God has enlisted the earnest of a work ethic to accomplish his plans and purposes in fulfilling the dreams of those he has called. When one’s reaction is inaction the result is nothing accomplished. Jesus said:

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? Matthew 6:27

Daydreams and Night dreams do not accomplish anything of themselves. It is when one puts their hands to the plough that makes things begin to take shape. To construct a dream is to acquire the tools, materials, and manpower to build. Also one cannot sell what they are unwilling to invest their own time, talent, and treasures into.

Speaking the Vision is important to beginning the process, but engaging the vision with hard work will bring some manifestation to that vision. Speaking or vocalizing the dream is part of recruiting others who have the same desires in their lives, whom feel the same purpose and calling. Learning management skills is a definite plus, and learning how to build from the ground up by having a hands on approach also brings one closer to their objective. A short list of bringing the vision to fruition.

Prayer: Asking what God’s will and purpose is for your life.
Meditation: Listening for God’s answer and instruction concerning his will for your life.
Action: Putting into motion what you’ve heard God instruct.
Recruiting: Be led of the Spirit to ask others to join in the work.

For a dream comes through the multitude of business. When others see the vision in motion not just in imagination, they will either feel compelled to join the effort or to ignore the effort. But the Vision God has given you makes you the key to its success or failure. If it doesn’t consume you, it won’t consume others, if it doesn’t move you to action, it won’t move others to action. When you are engaging the dream through the abundance of hard work, it results in a manifestation which aiming for accomplish, when all others hear are the abundance of words without works, they will ignore the dream as a bunch of hype that has no hope of ever coming to pass. Selah!

Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
