I think you are saying, 'can you tell me' [if you] take-god-seriously!
For me, God is Truth. Truth IS Everything Real. The capital letters is to emphasize the Greater Reality of what is True. In other words, the world we walk through, including the language of the mind, is inadequate to express the Truth. The closes we can get is to point at the Truth. Even Jesus Christ knew this. He would say '...(Truth) is like ....", and often spoke in parables.
So, to talk about taking God seriously one finds language inadequate to convert seriously (conditional) to conviction (unconditional). What often is expressed is 'if you don't take God seriously ...(consequences)'. 'if you do take God seriously ... (consequences)'. The problem of the word consequence is that it is a result of a reason or condition.
Our Heart/Soul, when allowed (open-hearted) always take God seriously. The language of the Heart/Soul expresses Truth by unconditional faith and love; often expressed in or language as love, living water, light. Those that feel this are coupled to the Truth, forming a conviction beyond reason, understanding, or language.
So, to answer your question Truthfully, and all other questions using language, I cannot do so adequately. All I can do is point at the Truth by the Conviction (Spirit of Truth / Holy Spirit) in me.
John 10:37-38 "...If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”
