The simple essence of Salvation through Jesus unto eternal life is stated by Jesus in John 6:47,
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believed on me has eternal life."
The verb used here is "has," it is not "will have in the future," or "likely will have." And, eternal life by definition is not limited in it's extent by any human action, such as the fault of sin.
The only in belief in Jesus required is to hold that He is God in the flesh,
"The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us." (John 1:14)
"Every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God, and this is that spirit of antichrist." (1 John 4:3)
So, any required addition to faith in Jesus being God in the flesh is a human contrivance, not from Scripture.
Praise The Father.
