The article mentioned: "The foreign material is “a metal that reacts to a magnet” and is believed to have entered the vials during the production process, the Asahi Shimbun quoted an unidentified senior health ministry official as saying."

Interesting! My son knows someone who after receiving the covid vaccination held a magnet up to his shoulder in the location where he got the shot and it held while he was sitting straight up. It was a stronger magnet. He said a basic refrigerator magnet didn't hold.
