Yes sir you are correct, he was praying to Jehovah.

I am sorry, I will not be able to answer your question as those words are not found in John 17. However that term is used elsewhere in the Bible which refer to basically supplying the needs of His people out of His abundance. Jehovah promises that if we seek His Kingdom first, we will be given our needs. I personally find this very true and agree with the Psalmist who penned 37:25

The LORD did not pray to Jehovah = you need to read John 17 again.

The LORD Jesus Christ prayed to HIS FATHER

Behold means look, see. It means no more than that.

The woman in Revelation 12 is symbolic of Israel, not of Mary. The sun and moon, and the twelve stars is a reference to the dream of Joseph (Genesis 37:9-10), and are symbolic of Israel (Jacob) and his wife, and the twelve sons (tribes) of Israel.

the woman:
1) who is the child? Jesus
And Mary is his mother
2) the woman is the adversary of Satan
Gen 3:15 same woman
Enmity total war
Israel and Satan were in union
Crucify him crucify him in killing Christ
No it Mary
She is the mother of Jesus Christ who by her humility crushes his proud head

I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.

That passage is applying to the Israelites only. It is referring to God bringing the Jews back from the nations where He had scattered them. Verse 28 says, "You will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You will be my people, and I will be your God". It is not referring to baptism (which means to immerse, or submerge).

Acts 2:38) Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Can a baby repent of his/her sins?

Eh?
Acts 16:15) When she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and stay.” So she persuaded us.

a baby has no sun to repent of!

acts 2:38-38 includes children

ez 36 is the promise refered to in acts 2:38-39
And does refer to Christian baptism
New heart and the spirit
Same as jn 3:5

Context of Jn 3:5 “born again”

John1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; (John prepared the way by baptism)

John 2:6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. (Old covenant prefiguring of baptism, purification from sin)(His disciples believed because the ever Virgin mother of God interceded Jn 2:11)

John3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (Baptism)

John 3:22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. 23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.(Baptism / water)

John 4:1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John.

Born again means Baptismal regeneration!

The woman with the twelve stars is Israel and not Mary.
Mary could not contain the Twelve Tribes of Israel in her.
Mary, in addition to being from the tribe of Judah also had the bloodline of Rahab the harlot.

Repent from adulterating the Word of God and worshipping a sinner(Mary) who needed a Savior.

Mary worship is idolatry and sin and is forbidden by the LORD.

From a former Catholic(myself) who is now Saved by the Precious Blood of Christ and filled with His Holy Spirit.

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

17And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your [f]stay here in fear; 18knowing that you were not redeemed with [g]corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was [h]manifest in these last times for you 21who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

The Enduring Word
22Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth https://biblehub.com/nkjv/1_peter/1.htm#footnotesthrough the Spirit in [j]sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23having been born again, not of [k]corruptible seed but [l]incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides [m]forever, 24because

The only God that Jesus promoted was Jehovah Py. Never did he ever refer to himself as God, rather the son of.
You're right. Jesus never said the words, "I am God."
This doesn't mean Jesus never said he was God the Father.

Divinity of Jesus Christ

"And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior" (Luke 1:47). "Grace mercy and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior." (Titus 1:4)

Christ is savior! Christ is divine!

1 Tim 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Exodus 20:10
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Matthew 12:8
For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

Lk 5
18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?

24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

Jn 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

1 jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Jn 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

2 Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Psalm 86:15
But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

Exodus 34:6
And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

Only God can grant men peace

Jn 14:1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

my peace!
Gods peace!

Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

God became man!

AMEN

In reference to what?

Why the Jews have fallen but are not forgotten and will be restored when the LORD Returns.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling! 38Look, your house is left to you desolate.h 39For I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’i
Matthew 23:37-39

The Jewish people are currently in darkness and without a Savior but God has not utterly cast them away forever.

The LORD did not pray to Jehovah = you need to read John 17 again.

The LORD Jesus Christ prayed to HIS FATHER

The LORD does not pray sir, the Lord does. LORD is where your chosen version changed YHWH to Adonai, perhaps that is why you do not realize that Jesus' Father is Jehovah. Doesn't take much research to find that out Dave

You're right. Jesus never said the words, "I am God."
This doesn't mean Jesus never said he was God the Father.

John 1:1
The Word Became Flesh

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
...
14.And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Sond from the Father, full of grace and truth.

“Jesus answered them: 'I solemnly declare it: before Abraham came to be, I AM.” John 8:58

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the ... You must tell them: 'The one who is called I AM has sent me to you. Exodus 3:14

John 14:6-14
6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you had known me, you would have known my Father also.d From now on you do know him and have seen him.” 8Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves. 12“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If you ask mee anything in my name, I will do it.

What did God say His name was to Moses? And was Jesus claiming to be God at Jn 8:58?

The LORD Jesus Christ prayed to HIS FATHER

Good point.....His real Father....His only begotten Son....and we know the biblical definition of begotten.
And while I am at it I would like to point out as I do.....In any translation that is correct....as a whole there can be no names of persons, places, or things that start with a "J".... A "Y" needs to be placed at the beginning of the word to make them correct. Yahweh, Yeshua, and the unnamed God, the Holy Spirit. The "J" came out around 1400 years after the biblical era and was made popular by poems and plays. Through the centuries there was considerable effort made to remove God the Father's name and God the Son's from the Bible. The J slam pretty much put the finishing touches on this.

It was so important to remove God's the Son's name because it was the only name that could be called upon for salvation. So they did not Just put a J in front of Yeshua, they actually inserted a name that no one knows were it came from. Some understand that Yeshua was a common name in the Old Testament but you are not going to find the name Jesus in the Old Testament. I guess they overlooked that when they were doing all the work to remove the names of God the Father and God the Son.

This is why you do not know the LORD - you cannot understand HIS Word.

acts 2:38-38 includes children
I don't think so. Who was Peter talking to? Act 2 (WEB):

5) Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under the sky.
6) When this sound was heard, the multitude came together, and were bewildered, because everyone heard them speaking in his own language.
14) But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spoke out to them, “You men of Judea, and all you who dwell at Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words.

Peter was talking to men.

1) Are you saying that you don't believe Peter's explanation that the disciples speaking in tongues was God fulfulling Hs promise as recorded in Joel 2:28, or that Jesus saying that he would send God's Spirit was not referring to the same thing?

2) What are you translation are you quoting from? I don't see that in Psalm 22:1. It should be more like "Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?".

1) I am saying this and this only: (a) The Son and the Father do the same act of sending the Holy Spirit, (b) St. Peter is saying the Son poured out the Holy Spirit.

2) Septuagint Psalter, it's the one I use, hence the alternative numbering like [31 in Hebrew = 30 in LXX, 9&10 in Hebrew = 9 in LXX] given, for the Masoretic Psalter is corrupt and not what Christians have used or the Apostles (in the NT they always quote from the Septuagint Psalter, not saying they don't quote from other text types at times with other verses but with the Psalms it is always the Septuagint/LXX). I pray the LXX Psalter daily so whenever I quote from a Psalm it's that one.

When did israel or the children rev 12:17 of israel ever keep the commandments or have the testimony of Jesus Christ
Read it more carefully. Those that hold the testimony of Jesus are not symbolically represented by the woman, but by her offspring (what offspring did Mary have?). The offspring of the Israelites/Jews are Christians.

(Rev 12:13) When the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.

Satan persecutes the Jews (represented by the woman).

(Rev 12:17) The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep God’s commandments and hold Jesus’ testimony.

Satan persecutes Christians (represented by the offspring of the woman).
