However the bible clearly shows that you are wrong. The time when we are raised from the dead in a twinkling of an eye is at the last trump! I doubt even you would try to pretend that the last trump was after the 1000 years.

Proved by how it is then, that Death will be no more. Revelation 21:4

When we are raised to immortality of course death is no more for us. At that last trump death will not exist for us evermore.

I am confused why people can not see the situation in the Middle East is prophesied.

In order for the AOD of Dan 9 mentioned even by Christ in Matt 24 to occure

1. Israel must occupy the land
2. A temple must be rebuilt
3. Israel must be conducting sacrifice and burnt offering. Otherwise there is no sacriice for the AOD to put to an end.
4. Which means Israel must still be in sin.

Prophecy is a look into future events which are occurring on earth. It is God looking in time and sharing with us, these events will be taking place.

He uses these for the people alive at the time. So that when they see these things happen. They think to themselves. I have seen this before. This is in the word. Wow we were told this was going to happen. And it happen just like it was said tha ou sands of years ago.

This gets people to look at God and seek him and allows him to show them who he really is.

When you went and interpreted what Jesus said in Luke 24:29 as the event that will happen to us, that's when you left God's Word and instead went to men's traditions about the resurrection.

The body "which thou sowest" is pointing to our flesh body that is sown for this present world on earth. But the sowing of "that body that shall be" is a different body from the first one; it is a "spiritual body" per Paul, which is different than a flesh body. By that Paul actually means that flesh cannot literally change to a spirit body. But Lord Jesus' flesh was changed, which is why His resurrection body still retains the marks of His crucifixion. That won't happen to us. Our flesh will simply be cast off at flesh death.

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

FYI: "Mormons" do 100% believe that the dead will literally be raised from the grave, through the power of Christ, the Son of God's, atonement. I'm the only "Mormon" on this site.
