To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants.
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom.
The great delusion of the last days is them that say the Lord does not judge His people, because grace 'covers their sins': by grace God is 'blind' to their ongoing sins and trespasses.
They count the blood of the Lamb as no better than that of a bull or goat in the OT, that only covers and hides their sins, so that God cannot judge them for their sins.
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
Not only does the Lord judge His people, but He judges us first and foremost, and only the righteous shall stand in the day of the Lord with boldness in the day of judgement.
Even as they come boldly to the thrnoe of grace for help in time of need to overcome all sins, so they have the love of God with all the heart and boldness in His judgement.
Sinners that think themselves to be bold in the day of His judgment, because they are 'under grace', will be them upon whom He comes as a thief in the night, to judge their sins and appoint them with the hypocrites.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
God is not mocked and counted as respecter of persons, that will judge the unbelievers for their sins and according to their works, but not ourselves, because we are 'under grace'.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
All souls are made the same by God, and all souls will be judged the same by God: the soul that goes on in sins shall die, but the righteous soul going on to perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord shall live.
Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
The ungodly and sinners are His enemies separating themselves from Him by their sins and trespasses, but the righteous and saints are His people and Friends, whose works of His righteousness by faith are justified and pleasing to Him.
But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.
For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants.
